MBS Student Creed

I believe in myself, my family, my school, my teachers, and Jesus, the Son of God.

I believe that I have the ability to learn, listen, think, and speak.

I believe that I have the power to set goals, dream dreams, and achieve all things that are pure and good.

I pledge my hands, my heart, and my mind to do my very best everyday; to strive to succeed everyday, and to never, ever, ever give up.

Belief Statements

We believe:

I. learning involves the education of the whole person and is a continuous, life-long process that is best achieved when it fosters academic, physical, and spiritual understanding.

II.

by transforming how students learn, we are transforming our communities.

III.

all students want to learn, have some capacity to learn, and can learn when they are challenged, encouraged, and inspired to achieve their highest potential.

IV.

students learn in different ways; therefore, they must have access to a variety of learning opportunities that will serve their needs and interests.

V.

high-quality, Christian and community-based educational services enrich the learning process by supporting schools, and providing alternative resources thereby, impacting the community and improving student achievement.

VI.

in acknowledging the dignity and respect of every participant of our programs.
